Jay A. Yanavok, Esq. is the founding and only member of the Law Office of Jay A. Yanavok, Esq. Jay is a lifelong resident of the State of New Jersey and, for the past five years, has maintained his primary office in the Kenvil section of Roxbury Township, Morris County, New Jersey.

Jay obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) degree in 1982 from Lehigh University, located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, his Masters of Business Administration (Public Administration) degree in 1983 from Lehigh University, located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and his Juris Doctor (Law) degree in 1986 from the Rutgers University School of Law, located in Camden, New Jersey. After graduating from law school, Jay served as an Associate at two large law firms prior to founding his own firm in 1991.

During his career, Jay has served in numerous public and private capacities, including a Municipal Prosecutor, a County Public Defender, a Municipal Public Defender, a Planning Board Attorney, a Zoning Board Attorney, a Law Guardian (representing children in DYFS cases), Corporate Counsel to numerous small, medium, and large sized businesses, a Court-appointed arbitrator, and a Court-appointed mediator. In addition, Jay has served as a mentor to junior attorneys, has taught Law and Litigation at two local high schools, and has taught the History of Law and Constitutional Law at the Morris County Police and Fire Training Academy.

Throughout his career, Jay has always remained committed to providing his clients with premium legal services at very competitive rates.
